montana! where there is no speed limit, but they stop you for speeding. bweeha. how are the athiests? are they fun atheists? or glum atheists? -- I KNEW there was an IKEA in Houston or somewhere on me path. Behzad kept saying we've never been to IKEA he'd only in been in Sweden without me and I said no way we went to IKEA together - I just can't remember where it is. HOUSTON! I win!!

I hope the planet doesn't reel and flip on its axis (axes?) when I finally get the place organized. Me cleaning house could unleash the first horseman of the apocalypse...

OK. here's how it went. The major task was laundry. I got all my little piles prepped, stain treated, etc., and got the first load in the washer. Then they turned off the water in my building all day to repair some pipes. After 6 hours of waiting, I was finally able to finish the first load. The universe conspires to keep my home an array of filth! argh. So I went out and shopped at the hardware store and bought a new ceiling fan. ...Michigan? That'll be cool, right? ...Annlet, I'll come to Trivia night wit choo after the semester is over. Tuesdays and Thursdays kick my butt since I work til 6 and go straight to class downtown.

Wow. I hate funerals. I'm home now - which is here instead of there - and it's cold. Sorry I didn't have time for visits - my mom had surgery and doctor's appointments and then we had to leave early to scope out Virginia - where there is yet another interview. I be tired.

No worries, Annlet! Heaven knows I get so unbelievably busy myself. No sense fretting over it, and I'd only want you to come if it fit with your schedule, rather than try to juggle commitments. I am sort of vieiwng it as a trial run, seeing if I could swing set up and tear down easily, and if I liked the format. I was pleased with my display which was flower pot saucers in various color glazes as well as the raw terra cotta, then filled with different colored grains, including barley, sushi rice, mung beans, black beans, and red green and gold lentils, then I arranged the jewelry in the pot with the best contrasting beans/grain. It was a pretty display, and I got some fabulous silks from India to cover the tables with, so I'm happy with a well-working concept. Almost everyone who came commented on the display. ...Bryan's paternal grandmother died last Tuesday, and his parents didn't even go to the funeral. I felt sad for Bryan, because he must have felt awkward about his parents not showing up. Something to do with long-harbored resentments and hurt feelings that are just a vague memory and now a habit. Pathetic.

You'll be here??? In texas??? I dunno if I was great, but I sold a little bit, and made one potentially big contact for future dealings, and all from the comfort of a pretty safe environment, so that's cool. :o)

I bet you were great. Were you great? I bet you were. -- I'm away, which is here. Here I am. But I'll be there, over there - shortly.

OK. I'm getting freaky outey about my show this weekend. After weeks pinioned by lethargy bordering on catatonic, I have entered my state of mania. Will I suck? Will anyone buy anything? (not soliciting here). Feel frustrated and depressed that avocadotree.com didn't mention my show on their website and use the photo they borrowed from me for a month. Will I make a pitiful showing of it? Will anyone show up at all? Just a wee bit stressed out. ...and miles to go before I sleep.
