Here's Wellington NZ's site with various webcams, including a countdown to the premiere of the next Lord of the Rings pic, which debuts there in about 10 hours. There's a cam on the red carpet, too.

Sunday was just too much fun. I enjoyed watching the bassist cuddle and converse with his wonderfully voluptuous instrument. He told me it was his first time to play with them, he was standing in as a favor to the original bassist! Anyway, I feel inclined to write some very bad poetry in honor if the chilly veggie puree that is gazpacho, but my poetry is on rival to vogon poetry. I will spare you the agony.

Yes yes phlegmlett. I too had a wonderful time. B. and I talked to the sax player for some time after you all left. I am trying to convince them to play at Caves. I talked to the owner of Caves on Monday who says that it might be a bit cold right now. So maybe spring time or some such. I think it would be grand to sit out side and listen to the wonders of that Jazz the Bubba Hotep tends to exude. mmmm. Glad Bryan had a good time too. I did notice he had a huge grin on his face while listening. We will have to meet up again soon.

I did not construe the vampirey comment in a negative way in the least. I thought it a complement. And many thanks. Umm..I guess this means that I too am warped. Oh goodie I like warped.

Happy Gazpacho Soup day, everybody! I'm on a Red Dwarf mailing list, and this is the 9th annual Gazpacho soup day, which we celebrate with bad poetry written for the occasion.

*sarcastic mode on*Don't you love the way my posts come in drips and drabs, not in just one huge burst? It's like this annoying guy I know - IMPOSSIBLE to get off the phone with him, and when you finally do, he always calls back at least one more time to tell you "just one more thing." sheesh. me bad blogger!

...speaking of anne rice, I'm reading Exit to Eden, which can only be digested in small doses, if you ask me. Funny that even pornography's reading material gets repetitive and dull. How do people stay interested enough to get addicted to porn???

Hey Mel - I have a question about your post on Nov 12 where you said you were thinking about retiring team blog? The bendymind thing is neat, but I like this format better. Call me no-tech, but this seems a more comfortable discussiony sorta format. Would it be a hardship for both to be up? What category would I post my usual blather under? :oP
Thanks for meeting us out to hear that jazz band Ann&Babs. We had a lovely time. Bryan is a HUGE jazz fan, and that's his kind of stuff. The musicians were excellent, too. Must do more often. Yesh. Yesh.

hehehe...it [ahem] occurs to me -now, in the more awaketime hours- that to refer to another as vampirey might be misconstrued as a somewhat negative connotation. but. if you know me you know you should not, in fact, misconstrue that assertion as i am slightly warped myself and would only refer to anyone as vampirey in the mostest bestest hippest sense of the word. mhm. it is true.

We saw it last weekend. I like. I didn't want it to end that way either, but it made sense. I bet there will be more movies. I can see it. I actually want more now. I feel there is way too much left unanswered. I posted a few questions on the forum. I like that too.

Have you seen it have you seen it...? I enjoyed seeing it. I just didn't like where they went with it. Wanted it to be something else. Still - I wasn't sorry I spent money on it. Satisfyed to know what they did do with it - even though it wasn't what I wanted at all. Oh yeah - phooey - I just remembered - I nixed QuickTime to free up some space on my hard drive. And anyway - just squeezing by on this set up. We're small. We're slow. We're almost content to just leave it that way and then boom booming speedy gonzoloses like yourself come along and we ... w a v e r ... Waver waver. Wot. Did you peek the forum? Hm Hm did'ya?

You need to watch the Animatrix before you go see the third Matrix movie. It explains the history leading up to the three movies. - You can watch the two critical parts here at this site. - Watch both parts of The Second Renaissance. Its gruesome, but fits into the movies. The smallest version on this site is 32 mb to download. Also, you will need Quicktime 6.

Greetings folkses - I'm considering retiring the team blog in lieu of the fact that I managed to get this forum up and running. Have a peek and gimme your thoughts. Will go with the majority. Thanks. I agree the Matrix should've been cut to two. And they really ought not to have chunked the philosophy. Why'd they cop? Bugger.

I thought I did -- I would be played by the love child of Drew Barrymore and Eddie Izzard. Scary bubbly full-of-life creature with an overdeveloped sense of irony who loves men in makeup. What do you think? If Jodie Foster could be you, you be one hellacool chick, Mel! ...I just got Sing along with Los Straitjackets, and I also got Supersonic Guitars in 3-D by them for Phil's birthday, which was yestiddy. My b-day was Oct 8, Mel. To my utter chagrin--I confused myself into thinking Los Straitjackets were playing the 11th of Nov in Dallas, when in fact it was the 8th, so I utterly missed them Saturday night. Me and my sloppy calendar skills. *whimper*

Thanks SOOOO much for all my birthday prezzies, Ann!!! I'm enjoying my Nik-L-Nip right now. First I had the green, then I squirted the yellow down my bosoms, accidentally. The orange was my favorite. It was a refreshing treat for a break from house-cleaning. I've got about a truckload of crap for the charity dumpster-thingie. I can't wait to be done with housecleaning. This clutter is depressing me.

Oh, last night I dreamt I found my ultimate Fluevogs in a London shop for 14.99 euros. I was there with me mum and pop. It was strange, since England's not using Euros and M&P don't travel overseas. I kept thinking crap! I've got like a hundred pounds sterling back in a drawer at home, but no matter!

I'm not into facial hair, actually, but I was mesmerized by the beardy thing. It just seems so bizarre to focus on a particular feature and compete over it. For all the ill-groomed aspects of forty miles of facial hair, the costumes showed them all to be dandies at heart. The gigantic Babylonian number on Rheinhard Mitterhofer disturbs me. I'll bet undressed he's got a fur shirt, too. (yuck - why did I just invoke nudity???) Marco Salvetti, with that mischievous look in his eyes, looks like the guy who would cobble your hired car together with baling wire and pomade in the Italian Alps, and try to get in your smalls all the while. Anyway, I was entranced, and chased beardy links for about an hour that night. Maybe my lifelong revulsion for beardishness is just denial that I find it wildly attractive??? Maybe not.

It means you have a decision to make. Someone is pestering you. It bothers you, and you wish they would go away. Your brother, if you spoke to him about it, would know exactly how to make the situation go away, but you are not really sure that is what you want to do. You have variables to explore before you decide if/how to cage the beast.

Or not...

Or perhaps I just know how to make it sound like I know what I’m doing. I just rewatched Matrix Reloaded. I think I’m developing an Oracle complex.
